Dr. Jiangtao Liu's primary research efforts are focused on the development of novel precise molecular sieving membranes (2D COF) for gas, liquid, ion, and micropollutant separations, such as greenhouse gas separation, biogas upgrading/natural gas purification, solvent resistant nanofiltration, as well as antifouling in wastewater treatment, heavy metal removal from water, and haze removal from polluted air. He is the member of Chinese Chemical Society (CCS), European Membrane Society (EMS), and North American Membrane Society (NAMS). He owns 8 patent applications (7 have been granted) and more than 5 invited talks in overseas and domestic conferences. Until now, he has published 13 first author papers in the leading journals of membrane science and technology, including Science Advances, Advanced Materials, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Journal of Membrane Science, Polymer, and so on.
课题组研究方向聚焦于新型分离膜材料,包括COF二维共价有机框架材料、MOF金属有机框架材料、多孔材料PAF等,广泛应用于环境工程污水处理、重金属分离、雾霾净化、气体分离、海水淡化、油水分离、血液净化等领域。课题组研究方向切合与国计民生密切相关的饮水安全、空气质量、环境保护、生命健康等领域!目前发表文章有Science子刊Science Advances (2篇), 材料领域顶级期刊Advanced Materials, Journal of Materials Chemistry A,膜分离领域顶级期刊Journal of Membrane Science,环境领域顶级期刊Environmental Science & Technology等,已授权专利7项,多次受邀在国际膜领域大会ICOM、NAMS上做口头报告,现为中国化学会会员、北美膜协会会员、欧洲膜协会会员。
